Getting Started

What's in the Box

  • CYBERSIGHT HUD Glasses
  • Remote Controller
  • USB-C Charging Cable
  • Cleaning Cloth
  • User Manual

If anything is missing or damaged, contact support@cybersight.sg.

Quick Start

  • Charge the Glasses: Use the included USB-C cable and a 5V/1A certified adapter. Fully charge before first use.
  • Power On: Press and hold the power button on the right temple for about 3 seconds.
  • Install the CYBERSIGHT App: iPhone (iOS 16+): download from the App Store. Android (Android 13+): download from Google Play.
  • System Requirements: iOS 16 or later, Android 13 or later, watchOS 10.6 or later.
  • Activate and Pair: Open the app and follow the onboarding to activate and pair. Keep Bluetooth on and the devices close.
  • Start an Activity: Configure data fields in the app, then start your ride from your phone, Apple Watch, or Garmin bike computer.

Adjusting Brightness

  • On the Glasses: Double-tap the power button to cycle 10% / 50% / 100%.
  • In the Mobile App: Use the brightness slider on the home screen. Auto-adjust is available.
  • On Apple Watch: Adjust brightness within the watch app settings.

Replacing Lenses

You can follow the printed instructions included in the package, or watch our step-by-step video guide here: https://youtube.com/shorts/1l38x8mIw-Y.

Ensure Optimal Visibility and Comfort

  • Align the Display: Fine-tune nose pads so the HUD aligns with your line of sight.
  • Check the Fit: Ensure temples fit snugly to minimize movement.
  • Helmets or Headgear: Make sure nothing blocks the HUD or Bluetooth antenna areas.
  • Prescription Lens Users: Contact lens is currently recommended if you require correction.

Why the HUD Looks Larger Far and Smaller Near

The HUD projects to a virtual distance of about 1.2 m. With binocular vision, far focus appears larger and near focus appears smaller.

Connections & Integrations

What It Works With

  • iOS: Version 15.2 or later
  • Android: Version 10 or later
  • Apple Watch: Version 10.2 or later
  • Garmin Devices: Please Check compatibility on the Garmin Connect IQ Store

Mobile App (connect / disconnect)

  • Activate Zenith in the mobile app first, then connect to watches or bike computers.
  • Connect: Follow the in-app pairing flow. Subsequent reconnection is automatic when in range.
  • Disconnect: In the CYBERSIGHT app, tap the device name and select Disconnect. To remove entirely, use the phone’s Bluetooth settings to Forget This Device.

Accessories & Sensors

  • Put the accessory in pairing mode, then scan and connect under Sensors in the app.
  • Devices reconnect automatically when in range.
  • If your power meter includes cadence, the system de-duplicates and prioritizes its cadence over a separate cadence sensor.

Apple Watch

  • Data Fields: Tap Edit on the app home screen to configure.
  • Remote and Radar Together: Due to watchOS limits, only two Bluetooth connections can be active at once. If both are needed, consider connecting via phone or Garmin.
  • Connect or Disconnect Remote: Watch app → Settings → Remote.
  • Sync Data to the App: Enable Sync Activity in the watch app; if needed, tap Sync data now.
  • Cannot Start an Activity: In iOS Health → Sharing → CYBERSIGHT, enable all permissions.

Garmin

  • Connect the Data Field: Install the CYBERSIGHT field from Connect IQ. Open your activity page. Put Zenith and the Remote in pairing mode. Garmin will auto-connect.
  • New Garmin Device: Authorization is required per device. Skipping it causes connection failure.
  • Configure the Field: Match HUD mode and field layout per the in-field settings.
  • Occasional Drops: May be affected by Bluetooth limits or power-saving. Reconnect by reopening the activity page.
  • Remote on Garmin: When entering the activity page, Garmin attempts to connect the Remote. If it fails, re-enter the activity page.

Remote Controller (pairing / battery / LED)

  • Insert the coin battery.
  • Press the button once. LED blinks to enter pairing.
  • In the app, select Add Remote Controller and follow instructions.

Radar Tail Light

Typical triggers include approaching vehicles within 150 m, relative angle 15–20 degrees, and relative speed over 10 km/h. Refer to the radar brand’s documentation for specifics.

Smart Helmet (Lumos Ultra)

Currently Lumos Ultra is supported. For turn-signal info to display, ensure Zenith is connected to your phone, watch, or bike computer.

Developer (SDK and Bluetooth protocol)

Updates will be announced on the official website and developer channels.

Display & Modes

HUD Display Limits

  • Default layout shows up to 4 fields per page. In Dashboard mode, up to 6 fields are supported.
  • When more data is available, pages auto-paginate. Use the Remote or your connected device to switch pages.

Apple Watch Data Capacity

The watch app can process up to 12 data fields simultaneously. HUD display still follows the chosen layout limits.

Display Modes

  • Standard Mode: Full-featured view with flexible field configuration.
  • Dashboard Mode: High-density instrument-panel layout; supports arrows and text prompts for navigation.
  • Focus Mode: Minimalist, distraction-reduced view showing only core metrics. AI and goal prompts are minimized.
Data, Sync & Account

Strava Sync

  • Mobile App: Authorize Strava in settings. After each ride, data auto-syncs. Use Records → Sync to retry if needed.
  • Apple Watch: Sync watch data to the mobile app, then sync to Strava as above.
  • Garmin: Data flows via Garmin Connect to Strava when linked.

Why the App Asks for Personal Information

  • AI features use information such as height, weight, age, FTP, and medical history to deliver accurate insights. Missing data may reduce accuracy.

Why Login Is Required

Activity data and AI feedback are tied to your account for storage, syncing, and analytics.

Data Deletion and Recovery

If you delete your account, associated data is permanently removed from our servers. If deletion was accidental, contact support promptly; recovery may be possible within a limited window.

AI Coach (beta and free)

  • Generates personalized guidance based on your activity data when online. You can long-press the Remote to trigger AI insights.
  • Responses may be slower on weak networks. Currently beta and free; pricing or policy may change in the future with in-app notice.
Power, Safety & Troubleshooting

Charging and Power

  • Charging: Use the included USB-C cable with a 5V/1A certified adapter. Fast-charge protocols are not recommended.
  • Battery Life: Continuous HUD display and multiple active Bluetooth links increase consumption. Enable auto screen-off or wake on demand with the Remote.
  • Operating Ranges: Operating temperature −10°C to 55°C; charging 0–45°C; discharging −10–55°C.

Software Update (OTA)

  • Ensure battery is at least 20%; connecting to power is recommended.
  • Update via the mobile app only. Keep the app in the foreground; consider Airplane Mode to minimize interference.
  • Critical fixes may require a mandatory OTA.

Common Issues and Quick Checks

  • App Crashes or Lags: Close unused apps; whitelist CYBERSIGHT from battery optimization or background restrictions.
  • Started an Activity but No HUD Data: Confirm the connected device shows data; reconnect Zenith. Speed metrics require GPS; use outdoors for best results.
  • Unresponsive or Frozen: Press and hold the power button for 7 seconds to force reboot.
  • Phone Cannot Find Zenith: It might still be connected to another device. Some devices (e.g., Garmin) can take up to 2 minutes to release after ending an activity. If multiple glasses are nearby, keep sets at least 20 m apart.
  • OTA Failed: Turn on Airplane Mode and connect to Wi‑Fi, then retry. If it still fails, force reboot (hold 7 seconds) and restore defaults.

Safety and Compliance

  • Read safety notes before use. The HUD is an assistive display. Keep glances brief and maintain situational awareness.
  • Use certified power accessories. Do not open, modify, or repair the device yourself. Stop use immediately if any damage is observed and contact support.
  • AI suggestions are for reference only. Make decisions based on your condition and environment.

Legal Disclaimer

  • The HUD is for sports and reference use only. It is not a medical or legal device.
  • Do not disassemble or heat the battery. Non-certified accessories may affect warranty.
  • Users are responsible for any losses caused by improper use or unauthorized modifications.
