Common Issues

What should I do before updating the software?
Ensure that Zenith has at least 20% battery before starting an update. We recommend plugging it in during the update process.
Only the CYBERSIGHT mobile app can perform firmware updates.
Keep the app open in the foreground and enable airplane mode during the update to avoid interruptions.
Occasionally, mandatory OTA updates may be released to fix major issues.
The app crashes or lags during use. What should I do?
Check whether other apps are using too much memory on your phone. Try closing background apps.
Adding CYBERSIGHT to your phone’s battery or background whitelist may improve performance.
I started an activity, but no data is showing on the HUD.
Check if your connected device (phone, watch, or bike computer) is actively displaying data.
If data is present on the device but not on the HUD, try reconnecting Zenith.
Note: Speed and related metrics depend on GPS signal. For best results, use Zenith in open outdoor areas.
Zenith is unresponsive or frozen. What should I do?
Press and hold the power button on the right temple for 7 seconds to force a restart.
Why can’t my phone find Zenith during pairing?
Zenith might still be connected to another device. For example, after ending an activity on Garmin, it can take up to 2 minutes to disconnect. During this time, new connections won’t be possible.
Also, if there are multiple pairs of glasses nearby, move at least 20 meters away from the others, or connect them to a different device first.
What if the OTA update fails?
Turn on airplane mode and connect to Wi-Fi before retrying the update.
If the update continues to fail or gets stuck, press and hold the power button for 7 seconds to reboot and restore the device to its default state.
